In view of this, this post is to help you understand the formulation of an After Shave for barbering activities. In actual fact, this product can also serve as an antibacterial. If you follow the steps outline below correctly, you should be able to formulate or prepare an After Shave without any problem.
Ingredients
- Isopropyl Alcohol 300 ml
- Cetrimonium Chloride 200 ml
- Glycerin 100 ml
- Menthol Crystals 10 g
- Color 1 ml
- Fragrance 3 ml
Process
Step 1
Measure your alcohol and glycerin in to your bowl and stir very well. Ensure that the mixture is homogeneous and has become clear.
Step 2
In another bowl, measure and mix your cetrimonium chloride, menthol crystals and fragrance. Stir very well for all the menthol crystals to dissolve completely.
Step 3
Put the two mixtures together and stir very well and then add your color.
Step 4
Pour into your bottles. You are done!
