In this COVID-19 era, hand wash has become very important in our daily activity. It there important that, you learn how to do it yourself for your family or you make a business out of it. This article will provide you with process to making this hand-wash for yourself and your family. Please, note that, there is no one particular way or chemicals of making hand-wash. There are several methods on the internet and also there are other chemicals that one can use to produce hand wash.
INGREDIENTS
We believe that, the ingredients below are the basic ingredients that you will find in most of the hand-wash on the market. As I have mentioned there are several chemicals that one can use to produce hand-wash. For the sake of this tutorial, let us limit ourselves to the following ingredients to produce 10 liters of hand-wash.
1. Base (Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate) 250 grams
2. Salt (Sodium Chloride) 120 grams
3. Booster rice (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate) 30 grams
4. Booster Liquid 60 mls
5. Sulphonic acid 5 grams
6. EDTA 10grams
7. Preservative (Sodium Benzoate) 10 grams
8. Glycerine 60 mls
9. Fragrance 10 mls
10. Color To taste
PROCESS TO MAKING HAND-WASH
The following process should help you combine the above listed ingredient to produce about 3 liters of hand wash.
1. Add 5 grams of EDTA to 500 ml of water and add your rock salt
2. Stir very well for it mix
3. Add 5 grams of EDTA to 1 liter of water and stir
4. Leave the two solutions for 2 hours. After 2 hours the EDTA should have dissolved very well with the water. If it does not dissolve, please give it more than. You can do it and leave it overnight.
5. Pour your BASE, BOOSTER and SULPHONIC ACID into your bowl and stir
6. After stirring, begin to add your salt water to it in bits but stir very well before you add another salt water.
7. Repeat step 6 until all the salt water is finished. The solution should now become very light.
8. Begin to add your fresh water to it in bits until you get the thickness you want.
9. After getting the thickness, you can now add your COLOR, GLYCERINE and FRAGRANCE to it. Stir very well.
10. YOU ARE DONE

Please what happened to the other 1 liter of water with the EDTA? I didn't see you use it.
