EQUIPMENT
You will need the following equipment when you are making your natural hair conditioner at home.
- Source of fire
- Saucepan
- Spatula or stirring rod
- Plastic bowl
- Container
INGREDIENTS
To this wonderful product, all you need are the following ingredients. You can also add other ingredients of your choice if you know that it will be good for the hair.
- Cetyl alcohol. 160grams
- Softener. 100ml
- Shea butter. 50grams
- Preservative 100grams
- Banana. 3 pieces
- Honey. 15ml
- Vitamin E. 5ml
- Glycerin. 25ml
- Fragrance. 5ml
- Water 1 liter
PROCESS/INSTRUCTIONS
- Put your water into your saucepan and place it on fire for it boil.
- Add your cetyl alcohol and shea butter to the water and allow it to melt
- Now add your softener to it. The water should turn if you are using the right cetyl alcohol
- Add it to boil for about 5 minutes and bring it down from the fire.
- After 5 minutes, bring it down from the fire and add your preservative
- Allow the mixture to cool down
- Prepare your banana by peeling and blending it
- Now add the blended banana to the mixture
- Add your honey, vitamin e and glycerin to the mixture
- Add your fragrance.
- You are done
