HOW TO MAKE HERBAL MOSQUITO REPELLING SOAP

 

There are various herbs that has insect repelling abilities and one of such herbs is the neem leaves. As formulators, we are always experimenting to creating new products. This herbal mosquito repelling soap is very effective in repelling mosquitoes and not just mosquitoes but any other insects. We are happy to share this recipe with you.

Ingredients

1. Caustic Soda                          60 grams
   
2. Coconut oil                           300 grams
   
3. Eucalyptus oil                       60 grams
   
4. Glycerin                                60 grams
5. Water                                     107 grams
   

Herbs

1. Neem Leaves/Powder            100 grams                        
   
2. Soursop leaves/Powder          50 grams

Process

1. Soak your caustic soda in water, stir and allow it to cool down. You can add the leaves to it at this stage for it to extract the juices
2. Pour your oil into your bowl. If you have powders of the herbs, you can add it to the oil at this stage, stir for it to mix well.
3. Add your caustic soda solution to the oil and stir very well for it to trace.
4. Add your glycerin and stir very well
5. Add your eucalyptus oil and stir very well.
