HOW TO MAKE MOUTH WASH

 

Mouthwash is an essential commodity in the home. It is therefore important to learn how to make mouthwash at home. This article provides the detailed steps and ingredients to preparing mouthwash at home.

 

INGREDIENTS

The following are the known and widely used ingredients for making mouthwash. However, there are other ingredients that are also used to preparing mouthwash. Those ingredients would be discussed here in the future.

1.      Hydrogen peroxide (1%)                    20 ml

2.      Distilled or purified water                  100 ml

3.      Glycerin                                              20 ml

4.      Color (Optional)

 

PROCESS

1.      Measure your water into your bowl. If you don’t have distilled or purified water, add EDTA to tap water to deionized it so you can use it.

2.      Add your hydrogen peroxide to it and stir very well.

3.      Add glycerin to it and stir very.

4.      If you want color, you can add about 2 drops to it and stir.

5.      You are done.

HOW TO MAKE CARAMEL


We will be using a lot of dye in our products - food, cosmetics or soap and detergents. It is however, important for us to learn how to make basic coloring agent like dye. This article explores the making of caramel using common ingredients like sugar.


INGREDIENTS

Please note that the caramel sold on the market might have other chemical used to produce it. This is just a one ingredient product.

1. Water

2. Sugar


PROCESS

1. Put your saucepan on fire and add your sugar to it

2. Add the sugar to melt and burn to become black.

3. Add water to it to get the consistency you want.

4. After getting the consistency you want, bring it down from the fire and allow it to cool down

5. When it cools down, bottle it.

6. You are done with your caramel.

HOW TO USE BLACK SOAP TO MAKE ANTISEPTIC

 


Antiseptic is an everyday product in the home and therefore you must know how to produce it using ingredients from the home to do it. This is a much cheaper way of getting antiseptic and it is also effective as the other brands.

 

INGREDIENTS

The following are the ingredients needed to produce just 5 liters using black soap. It must also be noted again that, this is a hack. However, this can be used for business too and please you must let us know, come and help you.

1.      Black Soap                  100 grams

2.      DCMX                        30 grams

3.      Phenol acid                 10 ml

4.      Alcohol                       500 ml

5.      Pine Oil                       30 ml

6.      EDTA                         20 grams

 

PROCESS

The following process should help you combine the above listed ingredient to produce ANTISEPTIC

1.      Soak the black soap in about 1.5 liters of water. You can leave it overnight for it to dissolve well.

2.      Add you EDTA and stir very well. You can leave it for a day or 2.

3.      Stir very well. And you can also sieve it at this point to get the dirt formed by the EDTA to get a very fine product.

4.      Mix your DCMX, Alcohol and Phenol acid together in a separate bowl and add it to black soap mixture

5.      Add your Pine oil and stir very well.

6.      You are done!
