Styling gel cannot be ruled out of hair care products. This article is to give you some basic ingredients found in styling gel and the approach to preparing this product either for business or personal use. Ingredients
- Carboner 25 grams
- T.E.A 5 ml
- Thickener 15 grams
- Gelatin 2 grams
- Citric acid 5 grams
- Olive oil 5 ml
- Propylene glycol 20 ml
- Glycerine 20 ml
- Argan oil 2 ml
- Jojoba oil 2 ml
- Ylang Ylang 2 ml
- Vitamin E 2 ml
- Caramel 6 ml
- White Oil 20 ml
- Polyquarternium 11 5 ml
Process
Step 1
Mix the carbomer, gelatin, citric acid and thickener in water. Stir very well for it to mix well. You can soak in the water and leave it overnight for it to dissolve by itself. You will do this when you don't have an electric hand blend or mixer.
Step 2
After mixing, add your triethanolamine (T.E.A) to the mixture and stir very well. the mixture should start thicken as soon as you add the T.E.A
Step 3
Add your propylene glycol, white oil, glycerine and olive oil to the mixture and stir very well.
Step 4
Add your essential oils to the mixture. Separate the mixture and your caramel to one. You are done with your styling gel.
