HOW TO MAKE BODY CREAM AND LOTION BASE

 

Body lotion and cream is an everyday in our homes. You cannot think of skin care without thinking about body lotion and cream. This article provides you with the base ingredient and process to producing body lotion and cream base. You should be able to make a cream base if you follow the steps outlined in this article.

 

INGREDIENTS

The ingredients listed in this article are what we have used to produce our cream base. However, there are other ingredients that some people add when preparing their cream base which does not exempt the ingredients listed below.

1.      Cetyl Alcohol                          40 grams

2.      Steric Acid                              60 grams

3.      E-wax                                      60 grams

4.      Preservative                             10 grams

 

PROCESS

This is a double boiling approach ensure that you have all what you need to do your cream base.

1.      Put your saucepan on fire and add about 1 liter of water.

2.      Allow it to boil

3.      After boiling, place a bowl in it and add your E-wax, Cetyl Alcohol and Steric Acid.

4.      Allow it to melt and bring it down from the fire.

5.      Pour in your bowl and then add the hot to it in bit and then stir.

6.      You should stir well and then add cold water to it to get the thickness you want.

7.      Add your preservative and stir

8.      You are done.
