HOW TO MAKE LOTION OINTMENT

Ointment comes many forms. You can get gel ointment and others. This recipe will teach you how to make ointment in lotion form. With regards to the ingredients, you can add any other ingredients you deem fit to help relieve pain.

Ingredients

1.  Petroleum Jelly              1kg
   
2. E-wax                             100g
3. Stearic acid                       100g
4. Cetyl Alcohol                   50g
5. Methyl Salicylate              100ml
6. Color                                to taste
7. Menthol crystals              100g
8. Peppermint oil                  50ml
9. Lavender oil                     50ml
10. Shea butter                        100g
11. Preservative                        50g
12. Water                                   1liter

 Process/Method

1. Put your water in a saucepan and place it on fire…allow it to boil and lower the heat
2. Add your e-wax, cetyl alcohol, stearic acid, shea butter as well as petroleum jelly and allow it to melt.
3. Add your color to it and stir very
4. Add your preservative and stir
5. Bring it down and menthol crystals and stir very for it mix well
6. How it to cool down and then add your methyl salicylate
7. Add you lavender oil and peppermint oil
8. You are done!
